CrossGate Legal was founded by Muhammad Salman Ajaib, a foreign-qualified lawyer with more than a decade of legal practice in Pakistan. He ran his own practice and acted as litigation and in-house counsel for major institutions — including the State Bank of Pakistan, Telenor Pakistan, the Oil & Gas Development Company, and the Federal Board of Revenue — with several matters reported in Pakistan's official law reports.
He earned his LL.B (Hons) through the University of London International Programme, with studies across Pakistan and the UK, and an LL.M in International Business Law from the National University of Singapore, taught in collaboration with East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai — where he also apprenticed at the Shanghai International Arbitration Centre.
He has experience working as a paralegal in the United Kingdom while qualifying as a solicitor, and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He has also worked in legal technology, contributing legal expertise to the development of an AI-based legal research engine — the experience that shapes CrossGate Legal's intelligence-led, AI-powered approach.
